Could someone please let me know which hotels are closets to the dock for Holland's Oosterdam? We've stayed at the Edgewater when we've cruised on the Mercury/Century, since it was right next door. I hope to find a hotel by Holland's dock?

You might check the Best Western web site, we saw this hotel last week, it is near the Amtrak station in what's called the Pioneer Districk about a 5 min. cab ride to pier#30.

I don't know if it's opened, yet, but Silver Cloud was building a new Inn across from the stadiums. That's close to the HAL pier.

We stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn Lake Union - what a fabulous hotel! We were in a two bedroom suite for our group of 7. The service was excellent and there was a full complimentary hot breakfast - waffles, eggs, sausage, pastries, bagels, juices, cereals (hot and cold) and more. They have a super clean pool, work out facility, hot tub and sauna. I would definitely stay there again - they're about 1 mile from Pier 30.

You don't want to stay too close to the HAL/Princess port in Seattle. Next property is a containser ship port, across the street is a railroad freight yard (24/7), other next door is the USCG Station Seattle. Any downtown hotel will work with a 5 minute cab ride.

Hotel Monaco, Fairmont Olypmic, W Seattle, Hotel Vintage Park are 1.7 mile from Terminal 30. The Sorrento is 1.8 miles. You can go to tripadvisor and read reviews and see photos from expedia, orbit and viewer photos.

Just stayed post a cruise. Great historic neighborhood with lots of neat shops, bistros and bars. Also some street people sleeping in doorways if that kind of thing bothers you. Hotel is old but the essentials have been restored. Bathroom is updated and fine. Window air conditioner but the other window opened. King bed needed a bit more pillow top I thought but DH thought it was fine. Lots of pillows. Good TV. Excellent service with lugging a cruise full of luggage up and down. Nice little breakfast room next door with complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, e.g. bagels, muffins, toast, cold cereal, instant oatmeal bags, nice teas and coffees, fruit, juice, etc. Complimentary Seattle newspaper. Help with finding local sights. We were generally pleased. Several dollars less than the central downtown hotels also. Also steps away from the Double Decker tour bus and the Underground Tour. Marilyn
