Last time we left on Princess, it was out of the Port of Los Angeles. Was wondering if therre are any hotels nearby the Port of Long Beach with a park your car/stay overnight package. I notice that the Coast Long Beach Hotel has such a package, but hotel is very near the queen mary AND the Carnival Terminal.
I was wondering if they would shuttle over to the Princess Terminal and where will the Princess terminal be???

We were on the April 5th Regal cruise and it left out of San Pedro, which I think is called the port of LA. Which ship are you on? Are you sure it is LGB and not San Pedro?
We spent pre-cruise at Hyatt Regency LGB, which I got on priceline for $55. They do not have a shuttle, and the taxi fare to the port was about $35. It is within walking distance to the Rainbow Harbor, a walking waterfront shopping & restaurant area. You can see the Carnival terminal from there.
Post-cruise was at Sheraton San Pedro for $75 (by phone direct to hotel). They have a shuttle from the pier to the hotel, but not to the airport. The waterfront has some restaurants and maritime musuem.
Let me know if I can help with info.
Happy cruising!

Princess cruises leaving from Port of Long Beach use the Carnival terminal. Cruises leaving from Port of Los Angeles use the L.A. Terminal in San Pedro. Each terminal (Long Beach and Los Angeles) has huge parking lots (for a fee.) The Carnival Terminal in Long Beach is right next to the Queen Mary also.

We were on the Star out of Long Beach in September. We stayed at the Coast Long Beach. They do have a park and sail deal. They shuttle you to and from the cruise terminal which is just down the road next to the Queen Mary. When we returned, their shuttle bus was busy so they told us to catch a cab and they paid.
