I have a week+ that I can use for another cruise in August. Having only done one cruise in early April to the Caribbean, what would be a great place to go in August? This would be with the boyfriend and possibly another couple. (I don't know if that makes a difference in your suggestions though.)
Hints on destinations and where there might be a deal or two would be so helpful.
Thank you!

August is a natural for either Alaska or Europe.
Both are great cruises, I think, with varied itineraries available.

We did the Med. in August and it was unbearably hot. Even though we had shorts, it was uncomfortable. Our gondola driver told us that if we ever came back, avoid August as it is hot and crowded. We have done Caribbean many times during the summer months. Next year we are cooling down with a trip to Alaska in August.

We try to sail to Noworksovania on whatever ship is cheapest...
We live in Phoenix, anyone wonder why we want to leave in August? Only 110 for say... the month, cept at night, then it chills down to two digits.

southern Caribbean in August. No hurricanes and the diving is great. The water is nice and warm then.

Bruce, I am not arguiing, only questioning: why do you say no hurricanes in August in the S. Carib? I thought hurricanes went there, too.
Sept is the worst month for hurricanes in FL, tho.
