We got our cabin upgraded and I was just looking at the deck plans. The cabin we were assigned is double, but on the plan there is a dot or circle in the room. Anyone know what this means? Is it possibly a handicapped room? Just wondering as I was just reading some other posts about people having problems with the showers flooding in the handicapped rooms. I guess I am happy about the upgrade to a larger room though! My husband and I are cruising to celebrate our 20th anniversary and we were originally put in a room with non-converting twin beds! Hello! We may have been married 20 years, but we're not dead! LOL http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
If anyone can tell me what the "dot" means, I'd appreciate it. Couldn't find a Key to the map.

Is it a red dot or a circle? Maybe a deck/ cabin number?

My DH and I were upgraded to a Handicapped room on the Coral Princess last summer on Alaskan cruise. We loved it. Lots of room (especially the bathroom). We didn't have a problem with flooding. Actually I enjoyed the option of the pull down seat and the option of the hand held shower head. You didn't have to use either one. Be careful of the moveable ramp out to the balcony. I tripped when rushing to see a whale. The king size bed was way comfortable!

an empty circle means wheelchair accessible and a red dot means that the cabin can accommodate a 3rd and 4th person. I got that info from my brochure.

Jem4life, when did you get your upgrade? How were you notified? I'm on the Diamond on the 15th. Can't wait!

It is an empty circle so I guess my question was answered and I know it's wheel chair accessible, which will give us more room so I'm happy about that!
Heloguy, I found out about the upgrade on the Princess website by checking my account. Since we are leaving in 1 week, I just wanted to verify everything and I saw the cabin change and category upgrade. I'm not sure how long ago we were upgraded.
