I was very suprised to read in the following thread (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=354681 )
That Que was no longer the CD on the O'Dam:( I know he had just arived the same week that we were on the ship which was April 15 to 22 cruise out of san Diego..I thought that they generaly stayed 6 months on a ship prior to moving on..Does any one know what happened..He is a very good CD...:D

I thought I'd read on another thread where Que was filling in for the CD for a while, but wasn't the actual CD. He was on the Westerdam with us last year as an assistant CD and we thought he was wonderful. He definitely needs to be a CD on one of HAL's ships.

Actually when we boarded we were told that he was the new CD..It just seems strange to me because the ACD can't remember her name was just leaving for 3 months of R&R:confused:

Que was just filling in - right now Vuk is on the O'dam but I believe Jimmy will be returning soon. Sometimes staff flip back and forth between being CD and SACD (i.e.Steve Gayda, who will be returning to the CD position on the Westerdam this summer after returning from being SACD on the Prinsendam)...it's just a process.

When we were on the Oosterdam for the 4/1 sailing, Jimmy was the regular CD (forget his last name), and he was going on a 2-month vacation at the end of our cruise. He expected to return. (BTW, DW and I thought he was really good).

So I guess the other two CD's are stand-ins.
