Hi All,
This Question is for anyone that's already been on the Caribbean Princess. Is the arcade large? I'm sailing with my teenage son and the arcade is pretty important to him.
Thanks,
Lisa

Lisa - I have been asking the same question. So far I have gotten 3 different answers. Someone just wrote that YES they have an arcade but the room had NO games in - wasn't ready. I hope it's ready by the time we sail which is July 3, 2004. NancyK

Hey Nancy, I'm from Kings Mountain and we are going on the Caribbean Princess the week of June 5th. I'll let you know whats on the ship for teenagers. We have a 17yr old and a 15yr old.

I was on the 4/10/04 sailing and saw a large empty room with a sign "Arcade". It had bare metal doors and walls. I asked if the machines didn't arrive on time, and I was told by crew member that this was not a "game arcade", but rather a "passage way arcade" which would lead through the midship (look up "arcade" in the dictionary!). What I didn't understand was if it was "just a pass through", then way wasn't it open? Haven't they finished building the ship? It is puzzling to me. I wouldn't pin my hopes on a game arcade though! Sorry!

Hi All,
I called Princess and they said that they were going to put an Arcade in that empty part of the ship that's noted "Arcade". But instead they put the Arcade in the Teen Center. I hope that's true my son will be a little disappointed if there are no Arcade games for him.

Do you know if Princess has Playstation or Playstation 2? I also have a young concerned son. To that age these things make a huge difference - and it makes a difference for the adults trying to travel with a bored/pissed off kid! Mary Ellen

If you look at the ships deck plans from the Grand and Golden compared to the Caribbean, the GRand and Goldens arcade is where the kids Center is on the Caribbean, The Caribbean has the Lrgest Kids Center going because they want to attract Famalies and need the Extra room for them.

Hi All,
I just called Princess once again. This time I demanded a CORRECT answer. I told the rep on the phone that I was told when I booked the cruise that there was an Arcade onboard but now I am hearing that there isn't. He put me on hold and went and checked with his superviser and then said there is NO video arcade on this ship. But there are games in the Teen Center. I asked what kind of games and was told Playstation games. I asked why I was told before I booked the cruise that there was an Arcade and he said I must have misunderstood because the shopping area onboard is called the Arcade. But I did not misunderstand the rep that took my reservation. She new I was talking about a Video Arcade because she said it was outsid ethe Teen Center.
This could be a big problem for me. I am traveling alone with my teenage son who loved the Arcade on the Grand and Golden. I'm not bringing my son on a cruise to to play Video Games but it certainly fills the void if he gets bored from time to time. I am very disappointed but there is really nothing I can do at this point my cruise is paid in full and the air is all paid as well.
Hopefully he will find other teens onboard to hang with.

Yes...demanded...in a nice way of course!
I had been getting the run around whenever I called Princess. Three times they told me that there was a Video Arcade Room. Now all of a sudden they don't.
Being a Customer Service Manager myself...I can tell you that is POOR Customer Service!
