With the ship now going to Alaska how much will the daily on board activities change?

I would think not so much, I have been on Diamond already one and been on 3 previous Alaska cruises. Going on her to Alaska on the 22nd. Sure there will be ALOT more space at the pool and less in the spas but most daily shipboard activities are not out door and people just dress warmer. I bet the steam room in the Lotus sees more use than when we were in Mazatlan as well http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The menus are slightly different in Alaska.
The daily activities slightly change also - for example - last year, there wasn't any "pool games" led by the Cruise Director on our Alaskan trip.

Yes, come to think of it, you can count on Crab legs on one night, and OF COURSE baked Alaska.

What about entertainers? I'm looking forward to seeing "Sarge" and "Damn Dan". Are they signed on for Alaska as well?

No. Sarge will be in Irag entertaining the troops starting the May the 12th, we spoke with him on our 4/17/04 cruise, nice fella but a bit brusque in person.
