Hi everybody,
I am very interested in a cruise like Venice or Rome-Bangkok, similar to that made recently on Star Princess, I think!
Would anyone who made this cruise tell me if he liked it and why?
Thank you in advance. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

We are seriously interested in the Rome to Bangkok on the Royal Princess leaving Sept 16th. We are planning to get a balcony cabin. I have yet to receive any replies to my queries on this website. I casually know a couple who were on the Star cruising Bangkok to Venice this March and LOVED IT. However we have not yet gotten together to discuss the specifics of why. We are particularly interested in hearing how people felt about the cruise excursions but, to date, no responses. I wonder if this is a cruise that primarly attracts well seasoned and experienced travellers that don't spend time on the internet? There are quite a few good comments on the Princess Roll Call related to planning the March Star cruise but little re. any reviews/comments after the fact. I will be interested to see if anyone responds to your post!

Hi just found this but if you are still interested I have been on the Star Princess and cruised Bangkok to Venice. It's the best cruise ever. All the ports were so interesting and it gave you a small glimpse of the country. There are a few countries I would like to go back to. From Asia, to India, Arabic and European it was such an education.
30 days may have been too long for some people but I must admit we were with another couple and we had the best time.
The ship in my opinion is a bit too big for me, I think I would go the size of Regal Princess especially if you had to take tenders - that was a pain!
