My son, who is in his mid 20's is thinking about joining us for our upcoming cruise. That in mind, although we have sailed twice in Tahiti, I never noticed many singles. But also, really never looked.
Also, is there any nightlife to keep him occupied????????

I can't comment specifically on the TP, but I am 23 and have been cruising with my parents for over ten years (on Princess, Rcl,and Celebrity). I will be honest that in the last 3 years I have noticed that there are not as many people in my age range on the ship. However, I would never pass up an amazing vacation with my parents. I have so many great memories from the past few cruises. Also, I HAVE met people in the disco at night (open til around 3 am, music is like top 40's hits, but better than nothing), they just tend to be a bit older (in their 30's), one year I was lucky and got a huge group of 20-somethings, but usually 20 somethings are in the minority, it just depend on his luck. However, there are so many things to do: casino, lounges, disco at night, movies, just relaxing with a drink on deck, shows, I think that he will have a great time no matter what.

We were on our honeymoon, so I wasn't really looking for single 20-something's, but I do not recall seeing any. The cruise is split between honeymooners, couples celebrating their 25th-30th anniversary and retired couples. I am pretty sure most of the single women would be much older than your son http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. As for nightlife - there isn't much that we could find. After a long day in the sun and a late dinner seating, we usually hit the casino for a little while and then usually went to bed. I definitely do not recall the disco (or club, whatever they call it) hoppin'.

I pretty remember the same.... lots of couples, from 20ish to 30's..then our group. The 50's and above. Quite honestly, when we hit FP, it is as though there is sleeping sickness in the air. As I think through three vacations, we never made it much beyond 9:30p.m.
