I know this question has been answered before, I just can never access the search engine for some reason anymore. So my question is, what is the name of the company you can rent tuxes from, for Princess Cruises or do we do it right from Princess. We will be on the Tahitian Princess. Would love to hear from someone that rented one on TP cruise. Thank you!

That link is below, but FYI, I BOUGHT a tux, a good tux on ebay NEW with jacket, pants, shirt and tie for about $120 or just about $35 more than a single rental. That rental does not include shoes and neither did the purchase.
The advantages to rental, cheaper and you don't have to pack it, the disadvantages, you will need to do it every cruise. I voted for a buy. The seller on ebay VERY REPUTABLE was Lucky86, but a simple search with your size and tuxedo will get you to him. Shipping was very reasonable and FAST.

I think many of the cruise lines use the same formal wear supplier. I rented a tux on the HAL Amersterdam from Cruiselineformal.com. Set up the rental on the internet before leaving. Tux was delivered to our room the day we left port, was not in the room when we arrived but came back to room from looking around and there it was. Had two shirts. Used my own shoes. It fit nicely and it was nice not to have to pack it. I left it hanging in the room and the steward picked it up the last day of the cruise. This was a 21 day cruise that we were on. Price was the same for 14 or 21 days. I think it was $84

I agree with srphnx. Tuxedos are not expensive, cheaper than a good business suit. I bought mine about 8 years ago and it is sitll in great shape. You do have to take care of it though. Buy 100% Wool. Get a plastic garmet bag for storage and through in a couple of redwood bars or chips. Just an opinion.

Also try THETUXXMAN on ebay to purchase one. Find one of his offerings (251 of them as I type this) and feel free to send him an email. He will not only email you back with any questions you might have, if you include your telephone number he will call you. We got great immediate service and couldn't be happier. We did not buy buy a wool one as Larry didn't recommend them for use on 'warm weather' cruises. The one we purchased is a synthetic, packs with ease, no wrinkles at all and even for my 'dockers and golf shirt' kind of hubby is very comfortable to wear. Larry also suggests not buying fancy shiny shoes to wear. He claims that is the one sure sign of a rental. Rather he recommends a good pair of black tasseled loafers. Can't tell you how happy that made my hubby.
Regardless of where you get one I do recommend if you plan on cruising more than once buy one rather than rent, it will cost less in the long run.
