This is my first Disney cruise and read a few trip reports on how pool had to be emptied and cleaned etc from "accidents" ~ are swimmie diapers okay on the DCL or do you have to be potty trained to go in the pools?? i just came off RCCL and they do not allow swimmie diapers in any of the pools...:) just curious of the policy. My DS is 10, but just wondering what to look out for as far as that....thanks

You must be potty trained to go in the Mickey pool. But one of the ears is designated for toddlers in swim diapers. It has little jets of water instead of a full pool.
Unfortunately some kids get busy having fun and dont want to leave to go to the bathroom and some parents dont make their kids get out for a potty break, thus there are sometimes accidents sometimes.

It's nice that the toddlers at least have a place to cool off...I also just got off the Freedom and was very disappointed to see that my 14 month old wasn't allowed in there...even though they have what APPEARS to be a toddler pool near the H20 Zone area...
