We didn't spend too much time there, but the music was to dance to. I think they'll play whatever you want.

Also go during the day -- it is cool and quiet and a fabulous view of the entire ship!! No bar service, but the doors are unlocked.

We honeymooned on the Golden last September to NE/Canada. It was a decidedly older (read: non-dancing) crowd, and Skywalkers was very sparsely attended, but we loved it. It was almost like having a private party in a disco. The DJ came over and talked to us between songs, and I got into a game with him by requesting obscure songs, most of which he was able to dig out of his inventory, although I stumped him at least once. Figure on a wide range of dance music.

I LOVE Skywalkers. On the Grand last summer, the DJ was great, and he took requests, which was great since I love lots of 80's dance. Without requests though, it's alot of hip hop and current dance. Only problem, there were alot of teens, (18-20) that had obviously gotten alcohol from somewhere, and were very drunk there every night. But that's fine, I love to dance, so had a great time anyway!

No, they still check ID's but the one's I'm talking about are the 18-20 year olds that are allowed in Skywalkers, but are still too young to drink, but they were drinking anyway. Excessively!
