If you click on "My Space" on the toolbar and then "Profile," you will find them there...at least I think that's where they are!!!

Guess I should rephrase the question. I was looking for avitars not located on this website. Thanks JanetMarie anyway.

Would clip art work? On our old computer, we had a file with hundreds of clip art images. I can't offer a site, just the sugggestion to search for clip art in general within the makeup of your computer. I think we have a few in the microsoft works area. Not that I would be able to figure out how to transfer it!

BTW, there used to be moving images on this board and the hosts decided to eliminate the movement for faster boards. Some of those images are nice to see once, then just become a nuisance because it takes so muchlonger to load the thread. JMHO.

You can load your own avatar from any .jpg or .bmp that you have previously uploaded to the web. FTP space on Aol etc. You go to profile, to to avatar and then "point" to it but listing url.

I made the mistake of offering to help people do it once before but find it very difficult to do long distance, the above is the basics, you milage may vary.

Life is at it's best when your address floats

I made my own.

I took an image that I thought represented me well and used photoshop to resize it.

The other choice is to do a google for avatars. There are 1000's out there.

MouseMan....

I just "re-did" mine seconds ago......you need to find the one that you want from the thousands of avatar sites out there....This is the part that takes the longest(choosing)....once you find the one that you want....right click on it and copy shortcut(alot of sites don't want you to "hotlink" to their avatars so go to a site that doesn't say not to(many out there)).....goto MySpace here on CC....then to Profile....then to next to your present avatar....the edit button....then custom avatar....then in the spot that pops up, paste the URL(shortcut) that you just copied....make sure that it starts with "http:"(Mine said "AIM Buddy Icon" so I deleted everything up to the "http:")....then click preview....if it shows up, you are good to go( if not, you need to go find an avatar that does )....IMPORTANT....make sure to click on the "use this one(or something to that effect)......then look at your profile to see if it is there....then scrool to the bottom of your profile and click submit....That is VERY IMPORTANT.....Then all should be done...
