View Full Version : Have the Beds on the Zuiderdam been Upgraded?

I was on the Oosterdam last May and the beds were the best I have ever slept in on a cruise ship. Have the Zuiderdam beds been upgraded?

All beds in all cabins on all the HAL ships now have the new wonderful beds!!! Enjoy :)

I was on the Zuiderdam 9 weeks ago (Apr2) and the beds had not yet been done. This must have occured very recently?:confused:

I was on ZUI on 3/25 and we had the new bedding. Fabulous!

Caviargal, you were on Navigation deck (which had the new beds), I was in Upper Promenade which did NOT....a work in progress perhaps...

Hmmm... very interesting! Can anyone confirm that the Rotterdam Deck has had upgraded beds (or not?)

I sure hope so!!!!

How about the Upper Verandah?? Do they have the new beds??

I was in an SB BUT I was on with a group of 206 and we had rooms in all categories, from inside to the largest suites.

I previewed many of these cabins personally and did not see any without the new bedding. I did not, of course, get to see all of them, but I did see quite a few.

Beds are awesome~

We are booked on the Rotterdam Deck in August and for what we paid, I hope the beds have been replaced already. First cruise and I can hardly wait.

:) Hi CC Buds! We are booked for the Nov 4th sailing of the Zuiderdam in a VD category aft cabin (#4172). Have the new beds been installed in this cabin and/or category yet? Thanks!

Hi

We are going on the Zuiderdam in Dec 06 and we are three pax in a room. I believe it is my turn to be in the upper berth or sofabed not sure what the room has.

What can I expect?

Is it new bedding like duvets and sheets or is it actual new mattresses?

Would the upper berth's and/or sofa bed be upgraded as well?

Does anyone know??

I was on the Zuiderdam Alaska July 8-15 sailing. The new beds were very high. My mother had a hard time with it. Especially when she wanted to get off. The sheets were so soft and the pillows were wonderful.
