Suite perks

Do the suite perks apply to the mini suites on the Golden or just the actual suites? I have a mini suite cat AA booked for our October cruise and this is our first time sailing with anyone else but Disney. Princess did ask if we wanted to be part of the upgrade program, which I agreed to, but I'm sure that will never happen!

The "perks" basically apply to full suites. But, I booked a mini-suite and was upgraded to a full premium suite. So you could get lucky and the upgrade fairy could easily visit you. Either way you will be happy. I stayed in a mini on my last cruise and absoultely loved it. You won't be disappointed either way. Happy cruising.

as LyndaBaker said it only applies to the full suites and don't be so sure you won't be upgraded. My inlaws were booked in an AA on the Caribbean Princess for this June and got upgraded to a Penthouse suite.

I have read about people being upgraded and I have a question?! We have been assigned a room number does that mean we will not be upgraded. Is upgrades only given to people that book a particular category and no room assigned? Thanks, Linda

If you book a room and say you will accept a complimentary upgrade it is also possible. If you do not want an upgrade (many topics on the board about exactly what that is) you must tell Princess you do not.

I am tying to book a cruise in Sep 04 with my older parents and have a hold on the Grand in rm E725. If I book this how can I get an upgrade to a higher deck or a bigger suite? Do I tell my TA when I book that I will take an upgrade or do you wait until you get to the cruise and ask when you check in?
Has anyone stayed in E725 or close to it?

The only SURE way to get a bigger suite or a higher deck is to book it NOW. If you want to be looked at for a possible complimentary upgrade you should tell your TA NOW. At check in the ship is most likely sailing FULL - Princess fills their ships and most always has a sign on Purser's Desk saying ship is sailing full with no upgrades possible.

If your cruise is a way out make sure your TA keeps on top of prices and they may lower to the point that paying for an upgrade makes sense for you.
