We are in a SZ guarantee --when they begin to release cabins, is there any preferences that we might look for?
THANKS FRANK

Midships is more favored for it's ride in bumpy seas. At the end of the day, though, I can't see there being a bad SS anywhere. They are wonderful accommodations.

If you're booked as a guarantee, you don't choose your cabin - HAL does. But as Jim says, there's not a bad one in the lot

Well, I have done it to myself!!!
I just cheked "icruise" this morning and saw a SZ cat with 584 ft at apx $3k --I called my TA (another company) and upgraded from VA--which was fine, just prefered the 'S"and wow what a price!
I have just realized that this is a "SS" and not a "S"--they have the wrong sq ft ---So,the 's" cat is still sold out !!

BE CAREFUL BOOKING WITH ICRUISE!!

To my knowledge the S suites on Vista class are not 584 sq ft. They are listed as 510. On S and R class they are approx. 560. That number appears to be wrong for any suite. SS are listed as 384, I believe, including veranda. On second thought, the aft suites with the larger verandas could be listed as being 584, but the actual room size would be smaller than a regular S. They only have 3 berths not the 4 that S's usually have. Hope I haven't confused you. And BTW $3000 pp for an SZ for 7 days seems awfully high. We got ours for $1599pp.

As I said ,It was my fault---Wanted "S" and has been sold out--had a VA but saw the price on "icruise" and then the SQ FT and without thinking--called and had TA upgrade--this is a 10 day Europe and they are quite a bit higher--I had a GREAT price on balcony--$2100 pp------so I have paid $1900 more for "SS"--we will enjoy but not really worth it---oh well--

I just had an SS cabin on the Oosterdam and took quite a few pictures. Look at the SHIP group.
