A question about the pools on the Dawn Princess

Do the pools on the Dawn Princess have steps that you can walk down or do they have ladders to get in and out. I know this may seem like a silly question, but I am disabled and I can get into and out of pools with steps (The Summit is great), but I cannot climb the ladders (like Carnival pools have). Thanks for any help.

I do believe both main deck pools have ladders rather than steps. But, the deck area around one of them is designed to flood and normally has several inches of water in it so perhaps you could at least sit down there (lots of people do) and cool off. There is a third smaller round pool in the aft by the spa/gym but I do believe it also has ladders.

I have pictures of the pools on the Sun and the Dawn should be identical - if you look at my album - they are the last couple of pictures. It appears the aft pool has steps and a ladder:

I'm disabled too. I went to the aft pool on Dawn. There are steps to it. To get into the pool there are three steps the first one is about 12 inches down the second a bit more, the third is a very big step. Use the rail that is there and sit down on second step then step down. The depth on this pool is very good it is about 4-4/14 ft deep. Great for walking around in without to much problem.

I left my scooter up top to use this pool. You can see the steps in the above pic.

Capt Data: The Celebrity Summit has a great hydrotheracic (or whatever the name is) pool with very easy access and it is a large pool.

Coral: Great picture. Did you run everybody out of the pool so you take the picture? Just kidding.
