On designated formal nights, is it the whole ship or a designated dining room? If the whole ship, how formal? We did NCL twice last year and they designated one dining room and the rest could be resort casual. Thank you!

All dining rooms are formal throughout the ship. Horizon court, Caribe cafe and room service are not.

Sue dear, there is no cafe caribe on Diamond.

All dining rooms are formal except horizon court. The evening is formal, generally that means dark suits for men, but many wore light ones or even shirt and tie, no jacket.
