Golden Princess Sports Bar

Anyone spend much time in the sports bar? I am interested in how much variety they show, so they have ESPN, the major networks, etc. I have read that the positioning of this bar makes it easy to miss.

I thought Carnival did a nice job on their ships with sports bars as they are adjacent to the casino. The problem there was not much variety during the week. My best experience was getting on the Victory in October on a Sunday & getting to watch NFL games while waiting for the ship to depart.

Just curious about any details on the Princess sports bars. Thanks!!

The Golden sports bar (called Snookers or something equally ridiculous) didn't really play much of the sports I was looking for (Hockey) because they said they couldn't get the signal from the satellite (Southern Caribbean). However, I saw baseball, soccer, and (mostly) basketball on at night in the bar. A warning though, this bar may be the only place on the ship where cigar and pipe smoking is allowed, and it shows. I watched about 25 minutes of an NBA game before I had to leave. It's suffocating!!

Agree! Name of the sports bar is Players and we saw mostly basketball when we ventured in. We liked the Wheelhouse Bar. Relaxing and we thought the band was good.
