Pacific Princess Laundry Qs

We are going for 16 nights on the Pacific Princess and had some questions.

Does the self-serve laundry have soap available? Do you pay extra for it or is it automatically put into the machine at time of washing? (ie: should we bring our own Tide?)

How much is the laundry room? Should we bring quarters/dollar bills or is it charged to our room card?

If they haven't changed anything since June of last year, the soap was automatically dispensed into the machines. Can't remember how much the laundry was, but I do remember having to go to the purser's desk for quarters. Hope this helps!

On Pacific Princess last November, Papeete to Sydney, the laundromat was $1.00 per load, American quarters, automatic soap dispensing.

I always take a roll of quarters with me, but they are usually available either at the Purser's Desk, or in the Casino.
