What times are the Pizza and Grill open on the Diamond? I saw in something from Princess that they are only open from 11am to 6pm. My kids are used to a 24 hour pizzaria on other cruises.

Unfortunetly there is NOT a 24 hour pizza spot on Diamond, they are in open air and it is quite chilly at 3 am in Alaska. I was also a little bummed about that discovery, tell your kids they aren't alone.

Thanks for the updates. Are you getting excited yet? We need you to straighten up the Seattle Port problems before we get there in a few weeks. Or at least tell us how to handle them better.

srphnx,
What do you know about the room service menu? Maybe the kids can order pizza from it?

Don't remember seeing it on there but as far as I know the pizza ovens are out on deck and not in galley, so they can't bring what they can't cook, will check for you on Saturday http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I'll answer for Steve...
Although he is capable of speaking of for himself! Yes, Steve and his wife are cruising on the Diamond, back to back, 11-27 and 12-4. This is after 7 nights in April, 2004 and 7 nights in May, 2004 in Alaska.
I wonder if any other passenger will have spent as many nights on the Diamond as Steve and Toni after their 12-4 cruise (28 nights out of approximatly the first 8 months of Diamond cruising). I think that Princess should give them a reward (free cruise????)

Yes Chris, we are sailing a B2B on Diamond bridging from Nov. to Dec.
Thanks for the assist Hobie... you are correct, what you don't know yet is that we are planning to book two to three more opens when on board next week. $$ permitting we will be looking hard at a Diamond in September to Alaska. $$$$ fantasy includes another earlier one in July and another pre-cruisekarats cruise in Oct. All I need is a big pile of unaccounted for dollars, I really should consider coming out of retirement, at present I only work a few days a month. If I could talk myself into part time, I could cruise every 6 weeks.
