We booked a BC room on the Tahitian Princess. Does anyone know if the rails on the balcony are solid or do they have glass on the bottom. Also, what kind of doors are there leading out to the balcony, slidders or swing. Silly questions, but we are interested in knowing.
Thanks Der

Hi, It has been a year, but I remember sitting on a lounger and being able to see without any trouble. Doors were sliders. Lucky you, no more OMNI! desert daisy

Thanks Daisy,
That eases my mind. My husband hates the enclosed balconies.

We had room 6070 BC on 5-7-04. It was very nice and we could see perfectly through our door or sitting on the balcony. The doors were sliding. Just make sure when you are inside you lock it back or the air turns off.

Split rail(open type) on the on port and starboard.
Aft and forward are solid. owners suites and the two balconies between them are solid.
We had a minisuite and loved waking up and being able to look out at the beautiful scenery. Mini suites are huge.
