?? Limon Excursions on Coral Princess

Has anyone done the Pontoon Boat through the rain forest or the Jungle Train excursions on the Panama Canal cruise? Thanks for any info!

We were on the Island Nov 03 and we did the white water rafting, had a blast...Very safe and very beautiful, the guides are wonderful and fun.

Then we were on the Coral Jan 04 and did the same cruise and we went on our own and did the Zip Lining, another great adventure there was a couple that joined us that were 68 and 72 years old and they loved it.....

We have taken the Jungle Train excursion and it was interesting....nothing spectacular, but interesting. Will be there again on the Coral and I'm curious about the tram excursion through the rain forest. Anyone take that? Is it strenuous at any point? I have heard great things about it and would love to do that, but I've been hesitant. We are still very active, but, alas, not as spry as we once were!

We did the pontoon boat just this last FEb on the Coral and was fantastic. You will enjoy it. They always say that you may not see animals (monkeys, birds, sloths) but we saw all of them. We thoroughly enjoyed the excursion.

We did the white water rafting the week of Nov. 6, 2003. Had a great time. After talking to others on the ship, I think our excursion was the best one!

We did a boat thing that was booked through Princess. It was absolutely fabulous! I think it was called the eco jungle boat experience or something like that.
We boarded a bus, drove through Limon, through a banana plantation, and came to the river where we were treated with music and fruits (also clean restrooms). We then boarded a pontoon boat and had a wonderful guide who pointed out all kinds of birds, monkeys, sloths, and other animals. A good time was had by all and still time to shop next to the ship.
