Are the decks much smaller on the dolphin deck mini suites vs the BB caribe cabins mid ship area? Can either deck accomodate a lounge chairs and do they come with the cabin or do you have to ask for them? Is it uncomfortable having the dolphin deck totally exposed to above decks? Have never sailed Princess before so need advice!!

torpeedo, i have been on the grand and golden, both times in a mini suite once on the dolphin deck and once on emerald deck. we are now booked on the caribbean princess for oct and have decided on a BA on the caribe deck. i drooled when looking up at those extra big balconies. i enjoyed the extra room in the cabin, but would rather have room on the balcony for two loungers and the table and chairs. it would have been tight, putting a lounger on the mini suite deck. it can be done, but not without giving up or stacking other pieces. IMHO.

The balconey is that small on the dolphin deck on The Golden for the mini suites? They make them look so big in the broshure and on their website. They show 2 lounge chairs and 2 chairs and a table on them. I was really hoping to be able to sit out here and sun.

Thanks comettgirl. That's what we were thinking too. Plus I believe there is some covered area on the BA decks which helps in the sunny time of day. Would love the extra cabin space but we spend time on the deck more often. I do think the mini suite decks are smaller than the BA and BB caribe deck cabins and not much room there other than table and chairs from what I can see from actual pictures posted on CC.

Hey Pammyhound! We have made our decision and going with the BB. Want to lounge out there on that extended deck!

We are new to Princess and booked for Oct 2nd on the CP. We are in BE (Baja deck)with a balcony at the aft section of the ship. Does anyone know if this balcony is big enough for 2 lounge chairs?
Is the Baja deck a good deck to be on? Will we have a lot of noise above or below us?
Any comments are welcome! Thanks in advance!
