considering booking airfare to fll, sept 25 - its a nonstop flight from flint,mi to fll arriving at 1:50 - ship leaves at 5:00 - a little nervous as we usually like to get there the day before -but unable to leave this time like that. has anyone else cut it this tight???

No, I haven't. And, personally, I wouldn't. Sure, you might make it just fine if there aren't any hiccups along the way. Arriving on time, you can easily get your bags and be on the ship within an hour. However, airline schedules can change. Between now and then, the flight time can be moved later. The flight could be delayed for mechanical, weather, or air traffic control reasons.
It all depends on how much risk you're willing to take with regard to missing your first night aboard ship and getting to the next port of call.

I have to agree with Jim. That is cutting it just too close. I am always concerned about weather or mechanical problems. Why be stressed out before your cruise. IMO I would change the time if possible.
