Are electrical convertors or adapters needed on board the Nautica for US electrical devices, such as curling irons, battery chargers, or hairdryers?
Also, anyone know about the type of plugs in Istanbul? I'm pretty sure convertors and adapters are needed there.
Thanks for your help.

On board the ship are two plugs for US appliances and two plugs for other countries. I don't know about Istanbul hotels. If you need more outlets, bring an extension cord or plug like I did.

On our recent hotel stay in Istanbul, we used the 2 round prong plugs w/ a step down converter to power our U.S. electrical appliances.

I'm certain that all of the major hotels will have 115VAC sockets.

Thanks everyone for your replies! I think the extension cord or multiplug is a very good idea! I'll have to add it to my packing list.
