Just testing... don't know how this site works?

Howdy again! Here are the tips I mentioned in my previous post to you.
First of all, it is going to take a little research on your part. It would be best for you to read FAQ and Guidelines in the blue bar up above. They should answer most of your questions on how this site works. Also, please read any Announcements or Sticky posts at the top of the different forums too.
Please remember, many questions have already been asked and answered many times in the different forums. The search features are wonderful tools where you can use a key word or words on the different forums to narrow down the threads you will want to read for your research.
There is more than one place to locate Search. On the blue bar above between New Posts and Quick Links, in Forum Jump at the bottom of the page, and at the top of each forum or thread in Search This Forum or Search This Thread.
Click here to see what Advanced Search looks like: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/search.php (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/search.php)
Just fill in your key word or words. Under Search Options and over to the right, Cruise Lines "A - O" will be highlighted on top as the default. You will need to use the slide on the right to scroll down through all the forums and highlight the one you want by clicking on it. If you want to select more than one forum at a time, also use your Ctrl key. Please feel free to use the search features anytime. Just remember, do not try a search with too many key words or in too many forums at one time.
If you do not find all the information you seek after your research, please feel free to post an inquiry as a new thread in the correct forum where you think you will get the best response. Be sure to word your title so the other members scrolling through the threads will know exactly the information you seek and will reply to you. It is best to limit each inquiry to only one subject. You will get more replies that way. Also, try not to forget to include important details such as cruise line, ship, or date in your inquiry if they will help the other members with their replies to you.
Also, if you see another member's inquiry that has not been answered and you know the answer, please feel free to post a reply. It might help to use the Quote button so their inquiry will be in your post. This is helpful when your reply may be a few posts down from their inquiry.
For a list of all the Forums, click here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/index.php (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/index.php) Please note how the forums are set up for different subjects. Per the Guidelines, posts need to be on topic for the forum's title.
You also might like to check and see if there is a Roll Call for your cruise. You will find other Cruise Critic members booked on your cruise there and get to know each other on-line before the cruise. Sometimes, members post info & tips about your ship, ports of call, tours, etc. Someone there may know answers to your questions. Also, some plan tours together too! Plus, you will have the others to help you through the loooooong countdown time until embarkation day!

First, scroll through the list of cruise dates to see if your cruise date is already listed. If so, read through all the thread's pages to get to know a little bit about everyone. Then limber up your fingers and join in with a post. I'm sure the other Cruise Critic members on your cruise will welcome you and be glad to hear from you! If your cruise date does not have a Roll Call yet, please feel free to start it as a new thread after reading any Announcement or Sticky posts at the top.
You and your fellow Roll Call members will need to post often to keep your Roll Call on the top of the page so it can be found easily by other Cruise Critic members on your cruise that want to join in. Just remember, only a small percentage of the cruising public is a Cruise Critic member. You will not have every passenger posting on your Roll Call, only the Cruise Critic members that want to join in.
I sincerely hope you enjoy Cruise Critic and welcome aboard! There is lots of good information here!
