I am sailing on the Caribbean Princess this Saturday the 29th and was wondering if any underaged gamblers had a trouble gambling. I played all week on my last two cruises, yet, those were on Carnival... I do not look under 21, so I am hoping they won't bother me (Blackjack is Callin'). Any responses will help...
Thanks

The last person I saw trying to gamble underage on a Princess ship was seen the next day among the gang swabbing the heads.
They do seem to keep pretty close track, particularly at the tables. You'd hate to work up a decent win, only to be ID'd and have your chips confiscated.

They are not as vigilant as Vegas casinos are, but if an underage person won a jackpot, I don't think they've receive it. Since that is why most people are playing, hoping for that "big win", it sort of negates the purpose of playing
As far as playing the table games, again, I'm not sure what would happen if you won a big pot. Do they check ID when you turn in the chips? If you won a big pot, since you would owe US tax on the winnings, I think so. At that point, they know you are underage, so again I think you probably would not get the money for the chips.

In my opinion I would not take the chance. What if you won a good sized jackpot.(I know, that does not happen alot) they may want to check your I.D. Again I would not take the chance.

Also, on Carnival, the minimum age for gambling in the casino is only 18. Unless you're also under 18, that's why they left you alone.
I'm assuming it's 21 on Princess based on the replies above.
