We are traveling with our kids and Grandma, who will be in an adjacent BA cabin (Caribe deck). From the external pictures I've seen, I can see connecting doors on the balconies above and below the Caribe deck, but I can't make out connecting doors on the BA's. Can anyone who has stayed in a BA on the Coral enlighten me? Thanks!

I was on the sister ship, the Island on the caribe deck BA balcony and they do connect. There is a door that can be opened between the balconies. The caribe deck is great; the balconys are very large and 1/2 covered, 1/2 open. Enjoy!

We were in C535 (Cat BA)around a month ago on the Coral. If I remember correctly, there were no connecting doors.

Okay, after the conflicting reports, I went looking for a better picture and finally found a picture...

Soprano:

I was on the Island Princess, sister ship to the Coral, in August of last year. Very few cabins interconnect from the inside. However, almost all can interconnect from the balcony.

When we embarked and went to our cabin on the very first day, I asked the room steward to open up the door between our balcony and our friends next door who were sailing with us. We always walked from one cabin to another by going through the balconies instead of going out into the hallway.

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks rienreiter!
Yes, it is hard to find many connecting rooms on the Coral...and none which involve a quad (we needed a quad and a double), so we settled for rooms which are connected via balcony.
