upgrade: should I take it?

I just received word that I was upgraded and wanted to get Princess experts opinions. Based upon help from others on this board, I booked Golden AD E729. Today, I was offered VS E733. The room size is obviously larger. Any help in the pro/con department?

Yes, I took it. I didn't expect so many responses so fast. This is my first cruise with Princess, so how I got it, I have no idea. Do any perks come with the suite beyond the obvious size? Any goodies I should know about. I thought I had a great deal by getting 729. Thanks for sharing in the moment. I have not told my wife, so you are the only ones to know. I figure it will be a great surprise.

I was also going to tell you to take the suite but you already took it. Congratulations. I have been on 7 cruises and never been upgraded to a suite. I have had two mini-suites but never been upgraded like that. I am very happy for you.

Expedited embarkation, early disembarkation in all ports and use of disembarkation lounge on final day, preferred anytime dining reservations, personal shore excursion reservations, complimentary laundry and dry cleaning, comp. shoe polishing, luxury bathrobes, luxury towels, luxury bathroom amenities, complimentary slippers to keep, fresh flowers, comp. corsage and boutonniere on first formal night, complimentary mini-bar, welcome glass of champagne, extended room service menu, in-suite afternoon tea service, deluxe canapes, delivered daily, free internet service.

I am so jealous! DW and I are on the 7/11 Golden and I know that everything above the outside staterooms is sold out. The most we can hope for is a cancellation from above. We do have an AB mini-suite though, so I guess I should be happy. Originally all we had was a balcony stateroom, but when the prices dropped before we made final payment, we switched and saved $400!

Thanks for the links to the suite pics and perks list. How does the early disembarkation work in the ports? We'd like to get off as early as possible in St. Maarten to do a non-Princess excursion. Also for the afternoon tea, do you have to order it in advance?
