We are on the Wonder 11/5/06. Is there a special theme night/day on the 4 day cruise? If so what is it?

Based on the most recent Navigators (activity sheet) that I can find, Pirate night is (and has been for a while) on the 3rd night, same as your Castaway Cay day.
Pirate night is a fun themed evening that includes everything from Disney Characters in Pirate wear, to bandanas and servers all in costumes at dinner, to a special deck show with fireworks and a late night buffet.
Some folks choose to dress up, some just dress up their kids... some don't dress in theme at all. Just go and have fun!!!

Pirate night was a lot of fun. We were on the Wonder in January 2005 and I think that's when they started it.

We just returned from a 4 day cruise on the Wonder (June 11-15). On Monday night was dress up night and the characters were all decked out! Tuesday night was pirate night! The characters were all dressed up like pirates. The servers in the resturants were dressed up too. It just added to the fun! Have a great cruise- I know you will! I am working on booking our next one!!

When you were on the 4 day cruise - how dressy was 'dress-up' night? We were thinking of doing Palo the first night but didn't know what the rotation was of the different restaurants. We aren't going until May, 2007 so we have some time to plan! :)
Thanks.

Was wondering the same about dress up night...
I thought I was the only one on here that had already booked for May:D . Which date are you leaving? Depart for us is May 27!

we are on the wonder from 5/27 - 5/31 with some extra pre-days at Disney World. We are going for our daughter's college graduation. We can't wait & have had our reservations for some time.

On dress up night my husband wore a button up, khakis and a tie. I wore a dress that I would wear to church. That seemed to be what most people were wearing. The kids were also dressed as if they were going to church. However, some were not dressed up quite that much. We did not get a chance to eat at Palo's (I do plan to eat there on the next one), but from what I understand it is required that you dress a little fancier to eat there.

As far as the rotation you will eat in one restaurant twice. Our rotation was PTTA- Parrot Cay, Tritons, Tritons, Animator's Palette. I am thinking that it would be nice to eat at Palo's on the night that you will be in the same resturant again. :)

What percentage of families dressed up for Pirate Night on the 4 night?

I would say there was about as many people dressed up as those that weren't. We were not dressed up and we did not feel out of place. You do get Pirate bandanas at dinner and my husband and kids wore them to the party. Which ever you chose- I think that you will fit right in!

We did not dress but were made to feel part of the fun. My 15 yo ds was kidnapped during dinner and was paraded around the dining room. It was fun.
