I just got off the phone with TravelGuard. They need a "Proof of Reason" document from Princess concerning our trip delay in order to process our claim. I didn't know the letter we received in our cabins from the captain was as important as it is, and didn't keep it. (It would have been nice for that fact to be included in the letter, since the Princess folks kept asking "Do you have travel insurance?" when asked about hotel accommodations in Seattle...)
Does anyone here have that letter, and might you be able to scan it and e-mail it to me so I can print it out for my claim?
I did call Customer Relations at Princess, and all they could fax me was a copy of the Cruise Week 5/23 Special Edition: "Despite Rumors, Diamond Princess OK After Docking Accident."
