We are about to book our first cruise with Oceania, sailing from Venice to Barcelona. We aren't going till Oct 2007. Right now there is free air. If I book with the free air, and then am able to get business class seats with my Air Canada miles when the seats become available in Nov, will Oceania give me any type of air credit? Does anyone out there hail from the Toronto area, and know what kind of routings/airlines Oceania uses? Did you have long layovers? Any info would be appreciated.

We always take the free air credit. It gives us the flexibility to choose our own flights, get frequent flyer miles for the trip plus have the opportunity to upgrade to business class. I think you will find that many do not book the free air with the cruise line but take the credit instead.

It varies depending on your point of origin and your destination. I have seen many in the $1000 range but seen them as low as $800 and as high as $1100 or $1200. Sorry I can't be more specific. Your Travel Agent should be able to get you more information.

Hi Marian,

Your travel agent will be able to tell you what the air credit for your sailing will be.
