I know I read this on the Princess Boards but can't find the posts now, so hope one of you can help before tomorrow. I have an interview with Princess for the position of future cruise sales onboard and am getting a 5 min. presentation ready for tomorrow. I want to conclude it with saying that even if you're not sure what cruise you'd like to book right now you can book a "?????" and decide later. Was it called an "Open booking"? Some of you have mentioned that you booked a future cruise but didn't specify which one so need to know what that is called.
Thanks

I think Princess refers to it as an 'open booking' but it is often referred to as a 'ghost booking' or 'phantom booking' by a lot of passengers. But I am sure the proper name for it, as told to me by the future cruise specialist onboard was 'OPEN BOOKING'
And best of luck, hope you get the position and that we have the pleasure of doing business with you someday soon. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Looking at posts from 05/21/04, there is some discussion on this topic and they do refer to it as open booking.
Good luck.

Thanks, I thought it was called Open Booking but had to make sure. On RCI and HAL where I've worked in the past they didn't offer this. Thanks http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
