View Full Version : Return from Sapphire Princess?

My mother and I will be traveling on the Sapphire Princess July 17th. We are so looking forward to the new ship and wanted a "scouting report" from anyone who has been on her. How was the food and entertainment? Activities? Buffets? Shopping? Did you encounter any problems? Thanks!

I am anxious to know everything I can about the ship too, but will have to wait as she doesn't go into service until mid June, then we will hear all the good news. Sissy

She sailed from the ship builder in Japan today. Will be in Seattle by June 11. Should be some postings about her well before your July sailing.
The postings about the Diamond Princess, the Sapphire twin ship, are very positive.

The ship is scheduled to arrive in Seattle early. There will be tours and lunch onboard June 9. The ship will have its official naming on the 10th. It will then have a 2 day sailing before "inagural" trip to Alaska.

I will see about posting somthing after the tour on the 9th.

We wil also be on board June 9th for lunch and touring. Looking forward to seeing the new ship. Will be difficult leaving though.
