I have cruised on the Disney Magic (twice), but never on the Wonder. Can anyone please tell me the following:
1. Is there a formal night on the 4-night cruise?
2. How early can you get on the ship on embarkation day?
3. How much is the parking now at Port Canaveral?
Anyone else going on the 8/6/06 Wonder?

Formal night is night 2, I believe that the terminal opens at 10am for check in with boarding commencing around noon. Don't know on the parking. Are you coming the night before (I know you live fairly close) If so and you stay at the Radisson (and several other places) you can park for free if you stay the night before departure. That may actually be cheaper than paying for parking at the port.
Hope to see you on the ship.

Actually, formal "night" was the night you ate in Tritons, but I saw all kind of dress.

There is no official formal night on the Disney Wonder. All 3, or 4 nights is the same dress code recommendations.

The Wonder is a beautiful ship. Just like the Magic I guess. You do not have to "dress up" formally like other ships but some people do. Rotating dining rooms is the difference. Tritons is more formal then the buffett dining room.

They must have changed things then. Our cruise had no formal night. Each restuarant had a differant dresscode although you were supposed to dress up for Tritons. (a tie and jacket was requested for men and women in a dress or nice pantsuit) Hubby and one other man were the only men in ties and jackets in the whole dinningroom. I and like maybe 3 other women wore a dress.
Palos you were to dress up "formal"-but still mostly women were in a nice dresss or pantsuits and the men just had on dresspants and button down collared shirts. My husband wore his suit again with a differant shirt and tie and I actually wore a very dressy silk gown, I did see a few women in like cocktail dresses-but still overall-even though you were supposed to dress "formal" there-most didn't-the most I would call the dress in Palos restuarant is smart casual by RCI's definiton.
Parking is I think $12 or $13 a day. but if you stay at the Radissson you can park free there and take a free shuttle.

Going first time on Disney end of August. Never heard about a buffet dining room.
Do they actually have a dining room where you go up and get your own food?
Also read where they don't have formal nights. On the 4 night it said 3 nights casual, and one night is dress up night where men are expected to wear a jacket and women a dress or pants suit.

No, the buffet is the alternative dining area. There are three sit down restaurants, plus the specialty restaurant. Then there's the different area on the Lido deck.
We did wear jackets to Tritons, but it was pretty much business casual. Took our formal shots that night as well:

Thanks Pete for the clarification. Sounded kind of odd to me. Buffett dining room. Never being on Disney I don't know what to expect. Seems there are a few things they do different than the other cruiselines.
