What is the earliest time you can get off the Glory if you have an early flight? There's one out of Orlando at 10:50 am, is that enough time?

We had a return flight at 1130 return and were denied transfers because of it. If you are planning on getting yourself to the pier its up to you but I do think the time is too early. There is always a chance, but who wants to risk missing their flight. Our last cruise was in Nov and we were off the ship at 845 but no one can predict what may happen. We ended up booking a 1pm flight to get our transfers. Good luck~

Hi.. I agree I wouldn't book that early because you never know what could come up from getting off ship late or any unforseen road construction delays..etc.

I booked a 12:10 flight for August because it was a direct flight home. I hired Basikshuttle.com and they made me feel comfortable enough with the timing of everything, that I am OK. They told me that they're at the pier ready to go between 8:00 and 8:30 and told me to just be sure to get the 'early departure' tags for ourluggage. Unfortunately we are unable to carry our own luggage off the ship so we have to account for that time as well. I thought I might be 'pushing it' for the 12:10 flight so I'd be even more concerned with a 10:50 flight. Good luck!

Thanks, I thought it was kind of early too. We'll just book the later flights. GC

Carnival recommends nothing earlier than a 1 PM flight time, however will give priority disembarkation if you have one.
I was surprised when I booked the cruise and air through Carnival and my flight leaves at 1240 PM from Miami!

I was flying out of Orlando at 12:10 on ATA and thought it was pushing it too close after talking to many that have had delays getting off the ship. I went into the ATA website and learned that my 12:10 flight was bumped up to 10:30 also....not even going to be close to making the flight. I called ATA and got it moved back to the next flight at 5 PM with no penalty. Good luck

10:50AM is close to impossible. If the ship gets cleared at 9am, even if you're the first one off, it will probably take you until 9:30AM to get your luggage & clear customs/immigration. Then it's about 1 hour to MCO, so you'll get there about 10:30 or so. You'll never make it through check-in and security for a 10:50 flight.
Earliest I'd recommend is 12 noon & that's even pushing it a bit.

Yikes- isnt port canaveral several minutes from the MCO airport- like 45 minutes? And traffic??? And MCo airport on the weekend is horrendous with all the people doing Disney...

MCO is about 50 miles from Port Canaveral and the traffic situation at the pier is horrendous as are the lines at the airport.

we had a 1:05PM flight out of Orlando and I never really thought about it after previous experiences. We only just made our flight by running and half of our luggage didn't make it.
