can i cash travelers checks at the desk

does anyone know if the front desk will cash my travelers checks for me before we get to port so i will have cash. in the alaska ports ( skagway, ketchikan and junoe) im not sure if they will take the travelers checks or not. any help appriciated. thanks, dusty

From what I've heard, you can also cash them at the Casino.
