Anyone know why you can't pull up any excursion list on their website for Domenica. I'd like to take a look and book before we go. It is just never there as far as I can see, which isnt far.......:D

The 2006 - 2007 Southern Caribbean e-brochure has dominica in it, here is the link

Hope this helps.

You can see all the excursions that MIGHT be available if you don't put in your booking number. This doesn't help anyone trying to book an excursion.

I just contacted someone who has an excursion on St.Thomas through Hal. They were clueless as to why it couldn't be booked and didn't realize this was happening. They told me they were going to contact Hal and find out why their excursion was not being offered to be booked and get back to me.

I also contacted someone in Dominica not that long ago and was told their excursions were only through Hal. Same problem, nothing shows up under the booking number. I didn't persue it and found someone else.

My guess is Hal's web site is still screwed up.

My DW and I, first time newbie cruisers, have Domenica on our itinerary and I am also curious as to why HAL has "No, Zip, Zero, Nada, Nil" excursions listed. Granted, our cruise isn't until Jan '07.... If anyone receives a sensible answer, please share with us!
Thanks in advance . . .

Don't know what you folks have in mind in terms of excursions for Dominica, but if you want a great tour of the island, take a look at the Dominica port of call board and read the comments re "Beno" We did a tour with him in January and it was great. He is very personable and accommodating and gave us a great tour with stops at the sulphur springs, emerald pool and the waterfall (can't remember the name of it) also took us to a beach for some shelling.

I highly recommend him.
