Couple questions about tux rental

I am thinking about renting a tux for my next cruise, and would like to geat some info on the style they rent, does any one know the "brand" they use, and if they are wool, polyester or microfiber..
the reason I ask is my wife is allergic to wool and it would not make for a fun evening..

We have never rented from Carnival but since youare worried about allergies why not try a local Tux shop. My hubby gets two jackets two shirts and two ties with a pair of pants and shoes are ooptional (he always wears his own) but all for about 60 bucks!! you just let them know you are cruising and they have never had a problem with returning it two days after returning. I think it would be safer for you to do it that way this way you can read the labels and ask the questions before hand. I know it is a pain to pack it and carry it but we have always found it to be a better deal. Good luck!

The following is off of Carnival's website. My husband and son rented theirs on the Conquest last week. They felt like a polyester blend of some sort but since you are dealing with allergies I would make a call to the Carnival number listed below.

Look your ultimate best without having to pack. Carnival offers three-, four- and seven day tuxedo rentals for both men and women. Men receive the tuxedo suit, shirt, cummerbund, bow tie, studs and cuff links. An elegant long, black formal outfit with white vest is available for women. A men's white dinner jacket ensemble is also available. So just leave the formal wear to us!

All measurements are required at time of ordering. (Please visit your home town formal wear shop for professional measurements).

I got my husband's tux on eBay for less than they rent them.

I got measured at my local tailor sent in the measurements to Carnival and there it was waiting in my closet in our room. Save room from having to pack a suit or tux. Best thing I ever did. Fit perfect and hassle free highly recommend renting through Carnival. Call to check what they are made of first...but I would almost guarntee they have no wool though.
