no. Unless it's carried by ESPN outside the US.

They might have the game on in one of the lounges... We were on the Oosterdam in March, and the Academy Awards program was shown in the Queen's lounge - don't know what network it was aired from, and I don't think it was available in the cabins.

I wouldn't count on it. Once during the NFL playoffs , the only sports we could get were cricket and billards! ugh!

i like to watch sports. why it is there is a unwritten law you can't do things on a cruise you could do at home. why have cooking and wine tasting classes? unless you have butlers and maids your doing that at home anyway. maybe i don't have the time to watch sports much unless i'm on vacation the same way people don't get the time to practice cooking during their daily lives. and why is it people say it must be a couple on vacation? i was thinking of going on a singles cruise on the noordam oct 25th but if all HA cares about is having fancy hairdryers in the staterooms, winetasting, and spa's for skin and hair care to heck with it. i've only been on one other cruise and that was the ncl norway and it had plenty of tv sports.[joking] if HA is gonna have male escorts for the single gals on longer cruises i propose this. have sports loving female escorts for the single guys. to heck with dancing-give us a sports knowledgeable cruise line female escort or two who hang out in the sports bar with us single guys and talk/argue sports with us. and she doesn't even have to be pretty. i bet the cruise line makes sure the male escorts are physically attractive.

Muttley . . . I concur! :)
I am very fortunate that my Bride of 33 years is a sports fan! (As much as my post was toungue-in-cheek....We both enjoy our sports.)
As for single guys, I think you have generated a great idea for HAL and they should follow up on your proposal !
By sheer coincidence, our Anniversary cruise starting on 6 January will have us at sea on both Sundays! Woo Ho !!!! :) Now if we get the NFL.. even better!

There is no guarantee that your desired sporting event will be available for viewing. A lot depends on the ship's location and the satellite feed. If you are in port, a game may be available at a local drinking establishment catering to Americans. For special events - e.g., Super Bowl, World Series, etc. - the cruise line may make special arrangements to receive the satellite feed. The bottom line - be prepared not to see your game so you won't be disappointed.:)
