We have never sailed this ship. Any comments on SA 7047 , it is next to the penthouse (Starboard )on the Rotterdam deck, but it was the only SA cabin left for 7-07-07 Alaksa Cruise.
Does anyone know once you are deposited can you waitlist another cabin in the same class or higher. Happy Sailing!!!!:)

We had the PH and the adjacent cabin on the port side a couple weeks ago (7046 and 7048). You're about 5 doors from the Neptune Lounge, and have a great view...we loved the location...it was very quiet!
You'll love it.

i have not stayed in that particular cabin, but the class of cabin is very nice. You will be close to the Neptune as well.
Also, you cannot go higher in cabins really... the Penthouse is one above it!

We just returned from Zuiderdam and had SA 7074 portside and absolutely loved it. This level of suite is so nice and the Neptune Lounge is a plus that only this level and the penthouse have access to. You also have free laundry/dry cleaning and pressing service. The rooms were great, the service was great and you are treated very well. As another poster said, the only upgrade is to the Penthouse. These rooms are very spacious as is the verandah. We had adjoining rooms with our friends in 7076 so we had them open the verandah so we could walk back and forth and talk with each other during the Glacier Bay day.
The Zuiderdam is very nice and being in the Deluxe Verandah Suites gives you access to the Pinnacle Grill for breakfast without an additional fee. The staff in the Neptune make it so easy to book excursions, etc. You are going to absolutely love this ship. The new beds are great. They hadn't changed the TV's on this ship yet to the flat screens, but understand that is in the works.

I've just had a quick look at the website of one of the TA's that advertise on this page and there were plenty of other SA numbers available on the Zuiderdam on 07/07/07.

We had 7049 on the Westerdam last year and it was great.
