Got my doc's today and I'm trying to get excited

The doc arrived today in the mail and I spent a lot of time on the phone with Air Canada hoping that they don't stop flying before May 10th. It is just hanging over my head, when I should be so excited about sipping my wine on my Balcony and watching the sun set into the sea. I don't want to be scurrying around in the last two weeks finding another way to miami.

I was in the same situation as you once. Best bet? Make contingency plans for IF your air falls through then dance yourself silly.

Don't cheat yourself out of this important cruise ritual over the possibility of some future ickiness

I didn't know that air canada was in trouble, but I wouldn't worry too much since many of our US airlines have been restructuring over the past few years and they all kept flying. You could call United Airlines and see if they will honor your ticket if anything goes wrong with Air Canada. They have are part of Star Alliance.

That's a good idea, however I live 14 hours by car from Vancouver, and that is the closest United flight. I bet that 14 hours to Vancouver is better than 5 days to Miami. I think they will be flying on the 30th, so if I don't get home, I guess I might have to cruise forever, wouldn't that be a shame. I should know for sure by the 15th, and that gives me time to look into Seattle to FLL flights if needed. I will be on that cruise!!!!!

Yes, what Chris said....Now you get your cruise-happy rumpus up right now and immediately do the nekkid doc dance while wearing a lamp shade on your head....and this must be done out in your neighborhood where you will be visible to others or it doesn't count...if you don't live in a "neighborhood" then you must go to the nearest one to your home. Hurry...there is a time frame that the dance must be done in!!!!

The reports on the news are sounding better each day, I have even started to pack!!!!
Now I am dancing in the streets.... I have slowed down on worrying, and even filled out my documents. What I don't understand is that only one of the three cabins ,have it that the prebooking was complete ,when I did all three at the same time. On the Carnival website they all say complete. Don't know?

Make sure you print out the summary of that one ticket that doesn't mention the fun pass info was filled out. Better to show up with it done and them not need it rather than not have proof that you did it.
