Hi,
We have a chance to get cabin 8422 (9A) large balcony on the Triumph. We are currently midship on same deck. Has anyone stayed in this cabin? Is there much movement, noise. Any info you can give us would be appreciated.

A few yrs ago we were in cabin 7416, under the one you are talking about. I think it was a much better cabin, large balcony and room was larger also. It was a true queen size bed. The staircase that's there is only used once, during the lifeboat drill. It's behind closed doors and not public access. I would highly recommend it if you can. I can't think of anything negative about it.

Those 9A's on that class ship are, IMHO, the best value cabin Carnival sells.
The corner ones are better with the wraparound balcony but 8422's balcony is about two times longer than the others and interior cabin space is half again bigger.
Not sure of the price difference you're talking about but if its no more than, say, 10 ot 15% additional and it fits nicely within your budget I'd do it in a heartbeat.
