I am a diehard Carnival fan BUT...I have to plan a 50th anniversary cruise for my parents next year....

What is the best cruise/ship to send them on and why? It will be just the two of them cruising (ages 70 & 75 but still young and can get around ok). I also want them to stay either 3-4 days before or after.

They will be flying out of Florida, Miami, Ft Ldle or West Palm Beach...

Thanks Cruise Critic Members again for your help with this...

I sailed on Celebrity's Mercury Southbound a couple of years ago. For your parents that line might be more appropriate...the atmosphere aboard is a bit more "sedate". Have you checked out Carnival's Alaska itineraries? My personal recommendation would be a Glacier Bay/Inside Passage trip, as the ship would travel round trip out of Vancouver. Getting to Seward, Alaska for a Southbound itinerary ranks as one of my least favorite travel experiences.
