Sensation recent cruisers help!

Money dictated that we switch from the Glory to the Sensation. Many of the online reviews are older. Do any of you have any recent experiences you'd like to share on the Sensation?

Also, do you think it's worth it to upgrade from a 6A to a 6D? I know it's just a higher deck, but it puts you right below all the action rather than relying on elevators all the time. I'm just worried about being right under the dining room in a 6D (the only place quads are still available).

To upgrade to a higr deck is a personal choice. I for one want my cabin sandwiched between cabins. How long does it take to wait for an elevator anyway?
But if the difference is not a lot of money and thats where you want to stay then you should do it.

I was wondering the same thing about older reviews of the Sensation.. I am taking my first cruise on her 5/15/04, and would love to hear more (recent) info. Even on the roll call board, there are only 4 or 5 who have answered that they are sailing on that particular cruise. I will be submitting a review after I return, with lots of info..

Bird: when you check out of the Sensation will you look at the hot tub located in the gym area to see if any one is in there?? I would love to know if people STILL dont know its there. When I went on the Sensation - no matter what time of day I went- no one was there and i had the hot tub all to myself.

Serene56: I suurtenly will!! I hope like $#% nobody knows about it yet! I plan on doing quite a FEW things in the general direction of the spa! I got lucky this time, though, and also have a whirlpool in the cabin. I have found it's like going to a chiropractor - (whirlpool) the more I use it, the more I NEED to use it - but that's NOT a complaint!!
