I've seen some GREAT pictures on webshots of a beautiful salt water pool with fountains in it in Costa Maya. It looks to be very close to the pier, and looks like it is surrounded by shops & bar/restaurants, yet this pool seems to be right in the middle of town.
What's the scoop? Is this pool just for cruise ship passengers?

Yes it is! Costa Maya was built just for us. They have a couple of restaurants, shops, live entertainment and vendors, not to mention the pool.
