How early has anyone gotten over to the port of miami and boarded? We are going on the Victory 5/23 and wondered how long the boarding process was on average. Thanks!

It's been awhile, but I think 10:30 is a good time to get there. You could try earlier, "ya never know" http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Earliest I've ever been able to board in Miami was about 11:45.

I think that it varies from sailing to sailing. I have been able to board at eleven and other times it has been later. Last month on the Triumph it was around 12:20 or so when they allowed boarding to begin. It depends on how fast the ship is cleared from the previous sailing.

Thanks for all the info, i think that we will try and be there around 10:30-11:00 and hopefully we wont have to wait longer than an hour, you just get so excited that you want to be on the ship and not waste any time!

I don't know if the pierside porters (the one who take your bags) would be there before 11am.
