Understand Susan Wood is currently back to HAL. Please let me know what ship she is currently on. Had her on a Celebrity ship a year or so back and had a wonderful. time.

Hoping to do HAL soon and hope she is there.

Thanks

She's certainly back, and has been for some time - she was aboard ROTTERDAM a year ago.

Yes, she is great! It is good to have her back from Brand X :) .

She was the CD on our Rotterdam trip in 2004 as well. Great CD! Glad she's sailing with HAL again.

Good to hear your voice again, Doone. Do you remember who we had on the Amsterdam?

Nice to hear from you as well Hammybee. I am thinking it was Susan Wood, am I right?

Susan was on the Amsterdam in May for our crossing/Baltic cruise this year. And, yes, she WAS on the Rotterdam before. She is such a lovely/relaxed person she immediately puts you at ease with her! She is thoroughly professional and delightful; I'm a fan!

Doone, I was thinking the same thing. If so, I thought the buzz was that she was leaving to go to medical school, her second shot at it and remained concerned that the call of the sea was going to win her back once more.

Regardless of who we had, she was many notches above most CDs.

doone (and hammybee) if you mean your cruise on the Amsterdam in '01 when you cruised in the Baltic, could it have been Chris Jurassa? (not positive on the spelling).
I boarded the day you disembarked, doone, and he was CD on my cruise.

I first had Susan Wood as a cruise director on the '04 trans-At. I understood she hadn't been back to HAL for too long at that point.

Doone and I were on the same cruise but did not realize it at the time. The CD we had was a woman and she was fabulous. It was common knowledge, she was leaving HAL and the name Susan rings a bell. So it is possible that Chris was the new CD. As always, thank you Ruth for having a better memory than most of us. Now about those hookers on HAL...........

hammybee, maybe that's when Susan left HAL for brand X?

And thanks for the memory compliment, but it wasn't entirely memory. I did remember that I never ran into Susan until the '04 cruise, but I had to check my daily's from the '01 cruise to get the name of the CD on that one. (Just forgot the spelling by the time I got back upstairs. )
