Worry Wart?

Has anyone had a problem with different dinner seating times? We are a family of four and I’m getting worried that my children (12,16) will end up with a different dinner seating time. Or even worse, they will upgrade my cabin without asking and my girls will be on a different deck. Ok, I guess I’m a worry wart! http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif I’ll be glad when the docs arrive and I can see everything in print.

In all seriousity, if the TA did their job <cough>, your cabin reservations will be linked and you'll have no problem with your dinner seating. You'll find out for sure when you pick up your S&S cards at check-in. The time and table assignments will be printed on the cards. And even if the unthinkable happened, a quick trip to the Maitre'D will get it fixed.

Surely they know your children are just that - children - and would keep the cabins together. I didn't think anyone under 21 could be given their OWN cabin anyway? At least, so say Carnival's rules.

Oh, I get it. You and one child are booked in one cabin, and your DH and the other child are booked in another. And then you'll switch up later, right? Well, in that case, you just MIGHT be on different decks - if you have a guarantee. Hope for the best. Can get mighty confusing.

As far as dining time, you won't know that when you get your docs. Above suggestion is good.

It's covered in Carnival's Age Policy:

1) Parents that are traveling with their children in different staterooms. The bookings must be cross-referenced and documented that they are parents and children traveling together.
